Biodynamic viticulture, founded by Rudolf Steiner, encompasses the cultivation of the vine all the way through to winemaking. To achieve the right balance between the plant and the soil, the winemaker works the land and uses biodynamic preparations, energizing composts, and plants. All of this is done in accordance with the biodynamic calendar.
-
Biodynamics describes these viticultural practices based on a vision of the earth as a living whole, giving the terroir the opportunity to express itself and reveal its distinctiveness while enhancing its immunity.

About the winemaker & distiller
The Maxime Crotet's trading company is very young, since it was founded in 2021 and he markets its wines for the first time in 2022. In addition, Maxime Crotet and Arthur Raillard, his friend, have decided to launch in parallel in 2022 "Les Fruits Maudits" their own artisanal distillery of liqueurs and brandies mainly produced with the picking of local fruits and plants. As for example, strawberries, apricots, lemon mint, verbena and more exotic ones too. This is how we’ve met actually with the project myvineyard. We tested their liquors and spirits and boy, oh boy they are not to be missed. We started to modify and improve the recipe for our project and we’ll have a limited editions of the finest liquors from the house too.

A special project and a very tasty vodka started to shape after several tests. We have now the Limited Edition of UGLY VODKA, a french distilled recipe with 3 aromas and colours ( blue-spirulina , classic -white, and red-with blackcurrant soft taste), like the french flag. Only 100 numbered bottles of each, with art-work from known street artist from NYC.
The winemaker, Maxime Crotet is a pure Burgundian who was immersed in the world of wine and gastronomy during his childhood. From an early age, he was interested in this world and more particularly in the different methods of wine making. He graduated with a pro Viticulture-Oenology certificate . Subsequently, he began his training with a winegrower of natural wines in Saint-Romain in Burgundy for almost 10 years. There he learned the management of the vines in organic farming, as well as the methods of natural wine making and breeding without sulphur.
